In my small town of Cox's Cove, Newfoundland, resides one of the most peaceful trail I ever discovered...and I can hike it everyday!
The beautiful waterfall is partially frozen over this time of year and is home to a variety of different trout. Great for bird watchers, adventure seekers or anyone out for a beautiful day of snowshoeing, as I did this past weekend with my family.
Some wildlife you might see could range from a moose to your average Blue Jay, either way the scenery of the beautiful waterfalls and wooden bridge is nature at its finest.
This snowshoeing trail leads up to the top of a hill with a great view of the community of Cox's Cove - which is the home town of the Crane's Legacy crew from the TV show Cold Water Cowboy's Season 2015 on the Discovery Channel.
While here you could stop by Lynn's Takeout & Convenience's for some great homemade fish & chips that can't be any fresher. Either way it will be a place you will want to revisit & will never forget.
